Whether you’re a seasoned campaigner or have never taken action before, attending the Activist Gathering will help you skill up, learn more about debt, and meet new people to take action with.
You’ll also get to hear from a whole host of inspiring speakers and attend workshops on a range of topics from global debt and democracy, resisting bailiffs, to creative actions like subvertising.
Here are some of the speakers you’ll hear from on the day:
- Grace Blakeley (via zoom), author, commentator and journalist
- Sotez Chowdhury, Amnesty International’s activism director
- Jo Barker-Marsh, Together Against Debt
- Heidi Chow, Debt Justice director
The event is free to attend and we’ll provide lunch.
There will be a childcare space and a quiet space. The building is wheelchair accessible, and has accessible and gender neutral toilets, as well as baby changing facilities.
Full access information will be provided once you have signed up, but please use the form to tell us about any specific requirements and we’ll do our best to accommodate you.
If you're keen to attend but are unable to cover travel costs, we have a limited budget to support with this. Email info@debtjustice.org.uk and we'll do our best to help.
